Rounds Green 6 versus 3 St Gregorys (Football Cup Fixture: 30/4/26)
Saint Gregorys came to Rounds Green this evening, the game finished 6-3 to Rounds Green. A 'Superb team performance' from the boys and a great game of football, the boys went over and beyond their 7 virtues. Rounds Green's teamwork was a joy to behold, which resulted in 6 extremely well worked goals (2 goals from Roman, 2 goals from Kian, 1 goal from Callum and 1 goal from Paschalis). A big well done to everyone who represented Rounds Green in today's game. A fantastic result which means currently Rounds Green boys are through to the next round where we will play George Betts. George Betts 2 versus 2 Rounds Green Primary School (Won on penalties 2-1: Football Cup Fixture: 6/5/26)
Rounds Green went to George Betts this evening, the game finished 2-2 with Rounds Green winning on penalties 2-1 (Well done Olly, Alfie, Daryus and Roman for their help in the penalty shoot out to ensure victory). A 'Fantastic team performance' from the boys on an especially tricky pitch the boys really showing their determination and teamwork virtues. Rounds Green's determination was a joy to behold, which resulted in an own goal and a goal from Paschalis. A big well done to everyone who represented Rounds Green in today's game. A fantastic result which means currently Rounds Green boys are through to the Quarter Finals. Rounds Green played St Phillips this evening in the quarter final of the cup, the game finished 4-1 to St Phillips. Rounds Green worked hard throughout, and got a deserved goal from the penalty spot that Alfie converted. A big well done to everyone who represented Rounds Green in today's game. Girls Football Playoff Matches (21.5.26)
Rounds Green attended the 'Girls Football Playoff Tournament' which was hosted this evening (21.5.26) at Moat Farm Junior School. Please see below results from matches:

Ferndale 2-1 loss (Goal from Alicia).
Rounds Green finished 4th in the tournament but should take great pride in being the 4th best girls team in Sandwell and Oldbury. Rounds Green's football, attitude and behaviour was a joy to behold and all children should be proud of their efforts. Mr Holiday, Mr Shuttleworth and Mrs Hadley would like to thank all the players for their efforts, we are so very proud of them and the journey they are on, as a team and individually you have come on leaps and bounds. Mr Holiday, Mr Shuttleworth and Mrs Hadley would also like to thank all parents and guardians for their amazing support, it is greatly appreciated. Rounds Green would like to thank Springfield, Moat Farm and Ferndale for playing us tonight and wish all the best to Moat Farm and Springfield for qualifying for the final.
