Nursery Admissions Process

At Rounds Green we offer free nursery places (15 hours per week) to children from the age of three.  

If your child currently attends another Nursery setting, your 15 free hours can be transferred to Rounds Green.

Subject to availability of places, nursery age children attend EITHER:

Morning Class: 8:45am - 11:45am on Monday to Friday 

OR

Afternoon Class: 12:30pm - 3:30pm on Monday to Friday

If you would like to apply for a Nursery place for your child at Rounds Green Primary School, the following process applies:

1. Download and complete the 'Nursery Application' form (below)

2. Return either a hard copy or electronic version of the completed form to the academy

Reception Admissions Process

Applications for Reception places at Rounds Green Primary School are welcomed from families living in any local authority.  Children start in Reception during the September following their fourth birthday.  The application window usually opens in September, and closes mid-January prior to the September the child would start in Reception.

Applications for Reception places MUST be made through the child's home local authority.   The application process varies so please contact the local authority in which the child lives for further information.

Mid-Year Admissions Process

If you would like your child to move to Rounds Green Primary School from another school, the following process applies: 

Please complete a mid year transfer application through Sandwell council school admissions. This can be done online at https://www.sandwell.gov.uk/schooladmissions
