The girls football team took part in a football tournament held at Rounds Green this evening. This tournament was aimed at introducing girls to football matches, whilst competing against other schools, with the aim of next year being a part of a league like the boys. A massive well done to all who took part, the girls showed off their super skills and were able to apply this into game situations, whilst also going over and beyond our 'School Virtues.' I would like to take this opportunity to thank Moat Farm, Old Park and Grove Vale Primary Schools for attending and allowing this tournament to take place. In addition, a massive thank you to all the parents, guardians and families who came up to support the girls, your support was amazing and we really do appreciate this. Finally thank you to Mrs Hadley for helping coach and passing on her amazing football knowledge and to all of the staff who attended to cheer the girls on, it was massively appreciated.

Myself and Mrs Hadley are so proud of the girls for their wonderful effort, super enthusiasm and always playing with smiles on their faces. We look forward to the girls attending football training tomorrow where we can put our football skills to practice.

Football certainly has been the winner tonight.
