On Friday 20th and 27th June 2025, 5B took part in Level 1 and 2 Bikeability courses. The Bikeability course ran by BikeRight as part of Sandwell MBC’s vision to teach children to ride a bike to National Standards and introduce them to cycling as an everyday, fun, healthy activity and an alternative mode of transport.  5B had a fantastic time learning and experiencing the importance of road safety when riding their bikes.  After the course some children said, ‘I enjoyed riding my bike on the roads and keeping safe’, ‘I learnt about completing a ‘U turn on the road’, ‘I learnt primary and secondary position when riding our bikes on the road.’  A big thank you to the BikeRight staff for putting on this award.
